What Makes Us Great

We are excited that you have an interest in being a part of what God is doing for our future leaders. Ascension Christian is the only Pre K-12 Christian, non-denominational school in Ascension Parish. Under the leadership of the Household of Faith Church, and with nearly 50 years in Christian education, Ascension Christian was the FIRST certified S.T.E.M. school in Louisiana.

This Month’s Spotlight: Matt Evans Shines at AC
The Spotlight shines on Matt Evans, a dynamic force at Ascension Christian High. As a Leadership teacher, tennis coach, and now a driving force behind the upcoming Family Fun Day on March 22nd, Matt wears many hats with style and purpose. Having served on the AC staff for three years, he’s channeling his exceptional organizational skills to orchestrate this exciting event, which we hope will become a cherished annual tradition. Family Fun Day promises to unite students, families, staff, and the broader community in a celebration of fun activities, all while raising funds to fuel AC’s future growth. With his leadership prowess, teaching and coaching talents, and a creative spark that lights up everything he does, Matt is a true blessing to Ascension Christian High—we’re so grateful for all he brings to our community!

Superintendent’s Message

Superintendent Mark Pellegrin brings over 20 years of educational leadership experience in elementary, secondary, and post secondary schools. He has a passion for student success, driving excellence and innovation throughout our school district.

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

Welcome to Ascension Christian, where God is at work for the youth of Ascenson Parish and beyond. As Superintendent, it is my honor to lead a school system with a vibrant and life-giving Christian culture that encourages all students towards academic excellence, leadership, and their God-given purpose. 

At Ascension Christian, our faculty and staff work together with parents to inspire and challenge students to attain new heights in their education. Our parnterships in the community support students with added value during their experiences at Ascension Christian. 

As we embark on another school year, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. Our focus on being our best requires participation from all stakeholders; students, parents, faculty, staff, and our community. Together, we can prepare our students for success in a rapidly changing world.
